Marion Mullauer is a results-driven Senior Executive with extensive successful experience in both Information Technology and Operations across diverse industries. She excels in developing strategy that aligns and leverages technology for the advantage of the enterprise, has a strong fiscal focus, a background in Business Process Engineering/TQM/Six Sigma Lean and is skilled in contract negotiation, vendor management, outsourcing and organizational development.
Ms. Mullauer has helped companies achieve success in many different industries. She is experienced in associations, health care/insurance, life insurance/financial services, law, transportation, manufacturing, publishing, retail and technology services. She has also worked with multi-business units and companies both domestic and international.
Prior to consulting with Transition Partners, Ms. Mullauer served as Vice President and CIO for Hanger Orthopedic Group, American Chemical Society, Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, and Preferred Health Network of MD, Sr. Director, Application Development with CSX Technology and Sr. Manager, Application Development and Manager, Methods and Work Management with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Maryland. Ms. Mullauer received her MBA in Management from Loyola College and her BS in Business Administration from Towson University. Ms. Mullauer currently serves as Board Chair for the Maryland School for the Blind. She is also a co-founder and member of the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum.
